Hello, I was wondering, what differentiates the Mountain Range from other WrTs? Also, what is its tank and pump capacities?

Thanks.

Unfortunately I have yet to find out much about this appliance we know it was originally built for the RAF as a 4x4 domestic appliance. Unlike standard WrTs this one has a 3400 litre water tank as opposed the usual 1800 litres. It’s fitted with a single stage, Godiva 3000lp/m pump with two deliveries and the third supplying the monitor. Due to having such a large water tank the lockers are not as deep as a standard appliance. Hope this answers all of your questions. Ben.

Yeah, that does!

Thanks

Does anyone know this appliances previous RAF reg prior to it going Ireland, if Seething lads read this it can be found on the chassis plate either on the inside of driver or OIC's door.

These were designated as SamSite vehicles to protect Bloodhound Surface to Air Missile Sites. Hence the roof mounted monitor (different monitor in RAF service) and brackets at the top of the windscreen to hold in place the Blast Protection Mesh Screen.
