Lol! Hi Peter, There were two of these both new in 1974. TDC619M was new to Grangetown, and This one (TDC620M) was new to Thornaby. It was withdrawn around 1995, and preserved in 1990. It did the Duxford show for a couple of years then disappeared, or at least I've never seen it.The last I heard was that it had a large hole in its roof, and it was preparing to donate its engine to something else.
Chris, please see my comment left for you on picture #18173, it may increase your knowledge a little. How recent is your info about the engine and roof please?

re TDC620M.. it was based at stn 5 (thornaby) along side one of the dodge's cleveland used for a few years, after moving from stn 5 it went to marine for a short while, then went as driver trainer for a another period of its life with CCFB. IT then went to the auctions at yarm. when the hammer went down i had paid £611 for her she stayed up here for another 2 weeks before she went south to fords to be repainted and marked up in the TEESSIDE markings as 620m was placed on station the day THORNABYS new station opened after moving from the old part time station in george street, bottom end of thornaby god that call out system the bell behind the front door the bell's ringing all hour's of the night and day thank god for the green shield stamp books to jam in it to stop it ringing. shoe's at the bottom of the stairs and keys near by to meet the call out times.. sorry the good old day's
