AEC Regent/Merryweather South Shields.Rear view of the former South Shields AEC Regent CU5705 seen at Preston Park somewhat unusually without it's wheeled escape.Unfortunately I didn't make any notes of the date, but it may have been 2006. This is the only time since I first saw this fine machine in 1983, that I've seen it at an event without it's escape.

And a different place for stowing Hard Suction Hoses - BTW, is that the Water Tank above them - I can see a sort of Filling Cap, on the left side?
Definitely an impressive rig.
