Dennis Simonitor TSM 15 SDM 391MThe pump Simonitor was purchased new in 1974 and based at Flint. The monitor had a capacity of 900 to 3650 lpm. The boom ladder had a capacity of holding up to four persons at any one time on the ladder, without the boom tip being supported. The boom also incorporated a lifting eye for salvage work with a capacity of 400 lb/ 180 kg upwards, according to the boom position.
I turned out on this appliance in the 70’s before I went whole time, and what a belting machine she was. What a pity when they disposed of a perfectly sound piece of kit.
