Only one row of buttons, on an apparently double-breasted tunic?

Can't be an Economy Measure...surely...especially as this Fireman's tunic appears to be a "non-Wool" material.

Not carping: just interested in the FF Gear development process as shown here.

That type of tunic was made from Nomex....unusual for only one row of buttons Pat....they normally had a row of dummy buttons on the other side
