Anorak on! Notice the black on white A24 station plate on the Pump Ladder. The only other station I remember with this on the frontline machines was A26 Knightsbridge. The rest of the black on white plates were on the FIU's only although I stand to be corrected!
Hi Pavel, it's English slang for someone who knows maybe a little too much about a certain subject. It derives from our trainspotters who used to generally wear anoraks and now it's used if for instance you know the minutest detail about something. Hope that explains it!
Hi Kyle,before i worked for the fire service,i drove buses for 16 years,i used to take pics of the buses in my Firstbus 'anorak' whilst on duty, there was a few of us just like here in the fire service, though are we now tunics instead of anoraks.ha ha.
