1973 Ford D series HCB-Angus came across this in the mid 1990's in Cornwall its registration sujests Aberdeen

This Appliance did indeed start off in Aberdeen then was transferred to Oldmeldrum Retained Station about 15 miles North West of Aberdeen followed by a stint at Gordonstoun Boarding School where Grampian have a Volunteer Station.
There's a 15 min video on Youtube about the Volunteer unit at Gordonston called "November 39" takes a while to get going, I'm not sure if the appliance is shown in the video but it's sister VSA635L is.
