2 generations of AEC and Leyland TD7, all Merryweathers.

The TD7 was a WWII ladder on a forward control Leyland bus chassis, and the early 1950s pump escape next to it was also built on a shortened double deck bus chassis too, primarily to ensure a low center of gravity.

The newer pump appliance, in the third bay, was a design introduced in 1957 on a more conventional lorry chassis.

At the time of this photo, Hull was a brigade which was standardizing on Merryweather appliances.
