Any idea of the reg number?

It's GLC 793. I took a photo of her too in January 1985. I think the owner Londonized it, but I didn't see her again after a re visit, believed it was owned by one of the fireman.

Petros will the station be replace?

the PFI credits have now been secured by LFB despite the change of government so the rebuilding of Plaistow will go ahead over the next 2-3 years. The last operational West Ham FB station will then disappear.

Hi, GLC 798 was owned by the Blue watch at Plastow Fire Station, They used it and took it to Shows and like all thing in the fire service , people moved on or retired, and in 1996, I brought it from the owners and rallied it untill 2001, Its stood in a barn since then but I hope to get it back on the road this year. Its still in LCC livery it runs but needs brakes sorting out, Its living in Essex I hope this was of help.

K2s often need the brakes sorting out especially the back ones. No wonder Austin changed the design about 1946. This will date from c Oct-Nov 1941

Stainless steel pistons & silicone brake fluid in 2005 and still no problems (K2 GLW 473)
