Bomberos Voluntarios Lujan - Argentina

This Chevrolet 1936 was built in 1956 as the first engine of Lujan Volunteer Fire Department. It is equiped with a 1500 litres (aprox) water tank, Jackson pump powered by a Chrysler engine. See also picture #21138

I think the contributor meant to say 1946 rather than 1936. The style was introduced in 1941, and because of the war, it continued to 1946; war-time models had painted rather than chrome grilles.

Bob thank you very much for your information. I forgot to say that only the chassis is model 1936. The front section of the body (I don´t know exactly the model year) was donated by a bus company to fit the vehicle when was built in 1956.
