That must be The Tasmanian Devil, of Bugs Bunny Show, cartoon fame.....
Hey Pat! You must get around a little bit to know of our Tassie Devils down under, you'd be more horrified to know a deadly disease has been wiping them out lately, , , ,
Yes, Pavel, news from 'Aus' does get out - heard of poor "Taz's" DFTD on our non-commercial Canadian Broadcasting Corporation [same as your ABC - Australian Broadcasting Corporation].
DFTD - Devil Facial Tumour Disease - infectious cancer spread by Taz's Intra-Personal Habits; eg chomping your fellow Tassie Devil. "Google" this topic, for more info, the Funding Appeal for these little guys, and all about Looney Tunes 'Taz', found only on Australia's large island of Tasmania.
The Moderators Marcels' must be wondering, at apparently being so far "Off The Topic" - but Fire-Fighters do have a soft spot for animals; as shown by the number of animal rescues every year, and the Fire Depts proudly displaying their four-footed mascots.....
Ps "twp" is an acronym, I always have trouble with ("twip" ?!). A township is a municipal government unit - usually a part of a county. Think "parish", "ward"; maybe "hundred" or "wapentake", from the old anglo-saxon, and norse days. Arrrgh.
