Land Rover Fire Engine

1980 Land Rover S111 Built by HCB Angus of southampton for Garringtons of Bromsgrove, and served them unitll 2003 when it was bought by a chap from Rugby, I bought the appliance for preservation 30th December 2006.

nice land rove, my dad drove that exact one at Garringtons in the early 1990's, he has now got a series 2a. I also says he drove this fire landy about 3 times.

Saw this at the 2007 Preston Hall Fire Engine Rally (23rd/24th June). It has an unusual set of lockers on it but still a nice m/c.

I remember the Land Rover (Carmichal conversion I think ) before this model also the "Mini" airfield tender based at Garringtons.

I remember this land rover well! It was used operational quite alot at Garringtons for oil tank fires. I attended a few jobs where it was used as first attack before we turned up!
