Dennis & Bedford Bridgwater Fire Station

This picture was taken by Bristol Bob and is published with his permission. It shows a Dennis F12 Pump Escape index PYA272 and a Bedford TJ Water tender index LYB344E outside Bridgwater Fire Station in the mid to late Sixties. The Dennis did survive into preservation but I'm not sure if it still exists.

Its a shame not many Somerset TJs survive. As far as I know 776RYD which there is a picture of on this site and RYC470F which served at Somerton in the 70s and maybe the early 80s are the only ones remaining.

Paul, This lovely F12 does indeed still exist! In fact it's for sale at the moment. It doesn't look too bad in the photo from what I can see and apparently has lots of spares with it. A great project for someone.
