North Eastern Fire Brigade Elgin Fire Men

North Eastern Fire Brigade - Elgin Fire Men the day they recieved their cork fire helmets. The dennis is in preservation and is owned by Peter McCombie he has couple photo's of it on this site. Although this appliance was ordered with an Escape ladder it was never on the run with the escape. My Grand father is in the rear of the cab.

Big or small,we loved them all.I certainly bet these now old firies could tell a story or two.
It sure is a real classic picture from a classic period in time-the 1950's.Also good to know this Dennis is still around and in preservation.

I wonder how old the lad at the front of the appliance is ? It is great to so many of the older appliances being held in trust for the younger generations
