1938 Leyland TLM 104 footladderThis 1938 Leyland TLM 104footladder served Northampton for many years. It is unique as it is one of the few five-section 31m, or 104 ft Metz ladders supplied. It was supplied with the standard 500 gpm pump. Jacking was supplied by the four internal screw down type. It ran out of Northampton's main station with a 1940-41 Leyland limousine style, fully enclosed pump, VV8500.

Hi Pete,
Yeah my computer is up and running again; if you're interested, e mail me and I'll give you the site where there is a current photo of this magnificent classic Leyland; it has been sadly neglected for many years but is now in the hands of someone committed to its restoration. Have other five-section Leyland Metz TLM survived? Anybody know?
