Former Salford TLM2A after restoration

This is BRJ333, the ex-Salford TLM2A of 1941 with Merryweather 100-foot ladder, pretty much at the end of restoration - when I took this shot there were just a few details missing such as wheel trims and brigade name to be sign written. The shot was taken outside the Manchester Museum of Transport where it still is today.

It's great to see another classic Leyland TL under preservation and being lovingly restored; thanks for sharing the pic and information with us Paul.

What a magnificent job they've done. A credit to all involved. I can just imagine her turning right onto the A6 out of Crescent fire station.
