1993 Kenworth. Tractor-trailer tankers used by fire departments are common on the Delmarva Peninsula because it is so rural and hydrants are few if any at all. Tanker 73 carries 8,000 gallons of water. They have a decal on the back that reads: 'No hydrants? No problem.'

Yes, 8, 000 gallons [30, 000 litres] of water arriving on-scene, in Mutual Aid - that would really make many a rural Fire Chief's day.

Otherwise, it can be "How far away is the water-supply, you say - #%$&# !! "
