The first Scania fire engine I've seen with the "new" front. I was wondering how brigades would cope with the large plastic grill section - would they paint it or would it get left unpainted. What's interesting is how they've painted it mostly red and then, perhaps because they had to paint it anyway, thought they'd paint the top of it, underneath where the Scania badge is. I don't ever recall seeing an old-fronted Scania engine with the platic underneath the Scania badge painted - I think it looks much better being painted. It will be interesting to see how other brigades cope with the big plastic grill. It's a real clash of styles with the livery on the side, can't say I'm too keen on that!

I'm not too sure I like this style of livery. With the batterburg on the lockers and the white on the cab.
