This appliance is similar to the new FM9 rescue pumps the NIFRS are putting at stations. (Pic 885) I believe the NIFRS rescue pumps have a "plastic" body.
is this the engine that a firefighter died in? i heard of a firefighter in scotland being tragically killed when his pump was involved in a serious RTA

i wsas looking at the other similar appliance and commented on how high i felt it looked, i really hope that the design of this appliance was not a contributary factor in the rtc
