Prime Mover Terneuzen 75663

The Fire Brigade of Terneuzen (The Netherlands) is the owner of this 2003 built giant truck. It is a Mercedes Benz 3543 L58 Actros, a Prime Mover. On top there is a pump unit. The capacity of the pump is a staggering 20000 !! litres/minute.

Comments:
This pump is used by the fire brigade to handle fires at the Verbrugge Terminals in Terneuzen. Because it is a huge terrain, with flamable goods (wood products), there is need for a system that moves huge amounts of water in a short time.
This pump has a Volvo Penta pump inside (750 HP), and this pump is connected with large hoses to 2 water monitors. The monitors have a capacity of 10.000 l/m each.
