Scania AB is a Swedish manufacturer of Trucks and Buses both for civil and military purposes. Scania was founded in 1891 an has its headquarters in Södertälje, Sweden. Scania employs over 35,000 people and has production plants in over 10 countries including France, Brazil and Russia. For a 26 year timespan Scania was merged with Saab (saab-Scania AB), from 1969 to 1995.
